However, underneath all that gloss this song hints about being exhausted.  About having enough… although, you’ll never hear it, you’ll be too busy dancing around with your pals, making plans to go to Ibiza (sidebar: do people still go there?).

This is why the Deadmau5 version of this track is great.  It flips the original on it’s ass and takes a throw away lyric snippet (“I can’t do this”) and turns it into the focus of the song.  The remix argues for getting away from your scene (or at least not being consumed by it).  The remix takes a 20 year old’s anthem aligns it more with the mentality of a 30 year old. But not in a defeated or depressed way.
